Snoqualmie Pass Couples Session | PNW Seattle Engagement Photographer

Featured

Every year, I receive inquiries from out-of-town clients visiting Seattle for the first time or simply coming back home to visit family. This past Summer, I was lucky enough to receive a request to photograph a newly engaged couple visiting from Indiana.

My client had never been to Seattle so was looking for recommendations on what could work during the time that they were visiting. It was late Fall and the snow was just about ready to start coming in. I put together a location guide for them that included photos from past sessions from a variety of locations that were accessible from Downtown Seattle and their hotel. They ended up landing on Gold Creek Pond which is about an hour drive from Seattle near the Snoqualmie Pass. This location always delivers with it’s beautiful mirror-like lake and mountain views.

I want to state that I am a photographer that deeply cares about the environment and our community. For that reason, I do follow and practice Leave No Trace principles no matter where I am taking my families and couples for photo sessions. This particular location is so pristine with it’s gorgeous tree lined views and mountain landscape that reflects in the pond directly below it. It is a favorite and a popular photography spot for elopements, weddings, family, and couples photos.

If you have the time, I always recommend scheduling your photography sessions during the week? Why? For popular scenic spots such as these, it enables us to have the whole place to ourselves. A variety of scenic views gives you more variety for your gallery, and for a location as scenic as this, trust me you’re going to want to remember it all. Interested in booking a couples session? Maybe you’re planning a surprise proposal? Book my couples session option online and I’ll be in touch to help you plan your day!

with love,
