Southern California has been home my whole life. I'm based in Irvine with my family, and we spend as much time in Laguna as the warm months will allow. It's where we go to slow down and watch the sunset, so it felt natural to bring families here to do the same.
Eight years ago I went looking for family photos that felt real and elevated at the same time, honest, but still beautiful. I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I started to create it. Laguna has that rare quality, the golden light at Crescent Bay Beach, the textures along Crystal Cove, that makes everyone slow down and breathe. It became one of my favorite places to create the type of family photos I envisioned.
