That’s exactly what I got to experience during a recent family lifestyle newborn session aboard a sailboat.
For this family, they wanted to capture their adventurous spirit aboard a vintage sailboat. Their future life together as a family is all about adventure and travel, so it was only natural for them to introduce their newborn baby to their love for sailing from the very beginning.

Located at the beautiful Boston Harbor Marina, we timed it about an hour before the sun was about to set, casting a warm light across the harbor. The gentle lap of the water against the boat’s hull set a soothing rhythm for their baby, providing the perfect backdrop and framing for their outdoor family session. Wrapped in a soft blanket, their baby was so calm against the backdrop of the sailboat’s white sails and beautiful blue sky.
