Being a parent myself, I know just getting ready for a family photoshoot can be a task in itself. Transitions can be tough for small kids. That is one of the main reasons I started offering at-home family sessions to my clients here in Orange County.

The ease of an at-home family session is that you never have to leave home. I arrive at your home, and we begin when everyone is ready. I’ll usually take the first few minutes to walk through your space with you. During this time, we can talk about what you’d like me to document. Even better is when I get creative freedom to simply document you being a family at home. Sessions typically last one to two hours. It depends on what you’ve requested.
How to prep your home (it’s easier than you think)
Prep is simple. A quick tidy, the kind you’d do before a friend stops by. Hide any wires or extra things you don’t want in the frame, but leave the lived-in imperfection alone. That’s what keeps your photos looking natural instead of staged. I’ll even help you choose outfit colors that complement your home’s interiors, like I did with the families below.
Since you’re at home, the vibe is casual and comfortable, and that’s a big part of what makes these sessions so special.

With the weather being nice almost all year in Orange County, planning a family photoshoot is easy. If you want to capture your kids at a specific age or wait until your home feels camera-ready, I’m ready to move at your pace. I will document your family life inside the comfort of your own walls.

At-Home family session FAQs
How long is an at-home family session? Most sessions run between one and two hours, depending on the package you book and the pace of your family. For an extended family event, I always recommend a two hour session so we get enough time to include family members.
How many photos will I receive? You’ll receive a curated gallery of high resolution edited images, delivered through a private online gallery you can download and share.
What should we wear? I’ll send you a styling guide once you book, and I’m happy to help you pull outifts that complement your home’s colors and your family’s style. The goal is comfortable, coordinated, and not too matchy.
Do you travel outside Orange County? Yes! I travel throughout Southern California and the west coast. Travel fees may apply for sessions outside the Orange County area, just reach out and we’ll work it out.
When will I get my photos back? Final galleries are typically delivered within 2 weeks of your session. You’ll receive a few sneak peeks within the first week so you have something to share right away.
