Recently, I co-hosted a styled photoshoot weekend in Yucca Valley for traveling family and wedding photographers. We carefully planned three separate photoshoots inspired by the California landscape and lifestyle. After weeks of searching for potential candidates online, I found a beautiful young family that seemed perfect for our planned family photoshoot. It was crucial to find people who actively lived and reflected that California lifestyle.
Styling And Aesthetic
It was so important to allow our models to show off their personal style was for authentic family photos. Our model brought vintage clothing pieces from her collection, carefully curated for our story. For the location, we rented a gorgeous AirBNB located in Yucca Valley, CA which I highly recommend for your next visit to Joshua Tree. It’s also a short drive from historic Pioneertown.
We had so much fun with this young family! Their baby was adorable, and they opened up to us during our time together. Achieving easy moments like this requires a good level of trust towards your photographer. By being playful and focusing on each other, we can capture authentic photos that feel like you.
