This Laguna Beach branding photos session was one of my favorites from this year. I had the privilege of photographing a local business owner for her yoga and wellness brand. We created imagery that reflects the calm, grounded energy behind her work. We began in her studio nearby, capturing intentional moments that showcased her creative spirit. Later, we moved to one of the area’s private beaches. There, the soft evening light and ocean backdrop perfectly complemented her brand’s serene tone.
When planning her photoshoot for branding photos around Laguna Beach, I carefully considered the natural colors and textures of Orange County’s coastline. Together, we curated a palette inspired by her own wardrobe, and as a result, each piece felt intentional and connected to the setting. The colors stood out beautifully against the neutral sand, yet still stayed true to her personal and professional identity. In addition, we kept accessories minimal and the styling organic, which helped the photos remain cohesive and timeless. Ultimately, this thoughtful approach allowed her personality and purpose to shine through, leading the visual story with warmth and ease.
Throughout the shoot, I blended wide environmental compositions with close-up details and warm, editorial-style portraits. Some of my favorite images came from the private shores of Laguna Beach’s Emerald Bay community. There, the gentle light mirrored the peaceful energy of her sound bath sessions—perfect for her branding photos. Each photograph was created with versatility in mind, ideal for social media, website pages, and future marketing materials. The final collection feels both refined and approachable, a visual reflection of her practice.
