One of my most asked questions last year was how soon should we take newborn baby pictures? Unless you want to capture them when they’re very tiny, I tell my family clients that there are no rules. For smaller just born babies, consider that they will want to be held, snuggled and carried, so you will get lots of images reflected with that closeness and intimacy. However, if you want to capture more of your baby’s personality then definitely schedule a baby photoshoot when they’re at this adorable stage. You’ll get some cute smiles, some giggles when they’re held up, and all the cute snuggles you could hope for in your family photos. Winter and Spring is a great season to schedule your family newborn baby photos. The comfort of your own home works just as well, especially if you want to capture them in their own at home environment.
