Your couple engagement session doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. In fact, you’ll probably have a lot more fun if you pick a location(s) (like this couple did) that is unique to what you love to do as a couple. I had so much fun hanging with these two who reached out to me to inquire about an engagement session in the city near Pioneer Square, Seattle. My client really loves the old downtown city architecture, and with views and settings like this, I am completely on board as well. She picked this gorgeous spot in Pioneer Square located within walking distance of King Street Station; our next couples photo location. On a rainy late Winter afternoon, we ducked into this donut shop to capture some cozy couples portraits for their gallery. Tall ceilings and natural window light for the win – every time!

After sipping some coffee and grabbing a snack, we then made our way to King Street Station over in downtown Seattle to capture some more carefree couples photos. The architecture and layout in this building is simply stunning! I had fun playing with the milky white backdrop and hazy light that day. The rain had stopped, and all the gorgeous filtered light came shining through for them.

I’m such a sucker for that soft, muted lighting y’all. So romantic for a couple engagement or surprise proposal moment and they simply loved it. There was plenty of floor space, so honey, we worked that upper level like it was their own personal stage. I don’t regret a single moment. Give me all the romantic vibes with couples that make my toes curl; I simply cannot get enough!

Did I mention there was couple romance? No need to be shy behind the camera when having your picture taken my moi. I’m there to help you feel comfortable and let you be yourself. If you feel stuck, I’m also there to guide and suggest some fun prompts that will help you relax. It’s all part of the experience and I want to make sure you’re having fun – always. I will be focusing on showing more couple portraits and engagement sessions this year, so reach out to me before my schedule gets busy.
